Let’s be honest, it’s the middle of the season, the weather is getting nicer, you are playing more frequently and you want to be able to pop on disc golf content on YouTube whenever you have some free time. There is nothing worse as a sports fan then when there is nothing new to stay updated with. NFL fans are feeling this right now with the awkward lull in between the draft and the start of the season. However, the DGPT season is happening now, and there should be daily content being pushed out to keep up with the demand. Let’s go over our top 3 favorite YouTube series to watch throughout the week of a tournament.

  • GK Productions OTB Skins

GK Pro has been uploading Skins matches every tournament they are apart of, and we are all for it. Led by Luke Humphries, they invite 4 players to compete in a practice round and the winner of each hole wins some cash. There is no better glimpse into these players true personalities than these videos and it brings out a perfect combination of competition and humor. You can watch these videos on the first Tuesday after the tournament. The uploads range from 50K to 100K views on YouTube and have been increasing their quality each video.

  • Jomez Pro Practice Rounds

Jomez Pro is the top dog in the disc golf community right now. Their production team is unmatched and their combination of Jeremy Koling, Nate Sexton and Paul Ulibarri is must watch. The Practice Rounds with these 3 players/commentators are uploaded prior to the tournaments so you can get a feel for the course and have an idea of the strategy that most pros will be using. Each video gets anywhere from 100K to 500K views.

  • Brodie Smith’s Practice Rounds

Brodies YouTube account falls to number 3 on our list primarily because of the inconsistent uploads. However, Brodie is bringing an awesome new energy to the sport that we are all about. Brodie’s practice rounds he posts on YouTube prior to a tournament are entertaining for a few reasons. He’s consistently playing with new top talent. He’s always setting the tone for what to expect at the tournament and shots players might be throwing. And lastly, watching him get better each video is motivating. Each practice round can get anywhere from 50K to 100K views.
